newbie needs help between 2 setups

Default newbie needs help between 2 setups

so heres the back story im putting an ls based engine in my offroad race truck and im torn between two set ups. both to be ran using a turnkey mefi 4 stand alone wiring harness and a th400 transmission w/ a 92mm cable actuated throttle valve.

first set up: complete 2009 l92 with about 34000 miles.
What would need to be done to this engine in order to run using this complete engine setup? Was the con rod bolt problem fixed in these new gen 5 engines? Does the vvt and dod have to be removed? Does this engine have a return or returnless fuel system. What would the approx hp be on this setup?

second set up: 2004 lq9 with about 30000 miles. Replacing the heads and intake with either the ls7 or l92 setups. A .575lift schneider cam, arp head and rod bolts, double roller timing chain, and 1.7 roller rockers if not supplied with heads. what would the approx hp be on this set up

thanks for any help you can give on this matter. im hoping to purchase these components within the next week or so.

decided on the l92
will figure out what has to be done in order to run it with a standalone and be backed by a th400.
