Default L92 headed 408 lq9 build.

So my ls3 broke a rod and killed the block.
Now i am putting a eagle crank, rod, je flat top motor together.
Question i have is i want to run a victor jr. or super victor carb style intake with a 4 hole TB. What grind are guys with these style intakes running for cams? What size Tb on this size motor? How high will it turn?

As far as cam grind I don't know what they are doing different from the cam grinds for LS style intakes but the motor is going to want to turn more rpm with that style intake and be prepared for some bottom end grunt loss. Some guys lose 40+ ft lbs of torque but gain a little hp. I would just get the TB from Edelbrock it has a GM IAC and TPS on it already. The motor will turn and make power dependent on your cam choice.

Here's a thread from the dyno section.

I have seen locals have good results with the Tsp 231/236 cam and stock cubes. But i havent seen this cam on any stroker's with a carb intake. I have a 4000 stall so low end itsnt a issue. I was thinking a 1400cfm Tb would work well.
