Default 03 lq4 iat sensor?????

guys,

so im starting to id what i need in my 03 lq4 harness and what i dont..

its going into a 67 camaro, so id like to get rid of anything that i dont need unless it helps mpgs...

it will be a SD tune, as ill be running twin turbos.

so, im tracing wires out and see that pin 25 tan goes to the air intake temp sensor based on a schematic i found on this site.

so, i try tracing the wire and come to find out that the tan wire terminates inside the harness on the O2 sensor branch...

so, my questions is... didnt these trucks have iat sensors? why would that wire terminate like that inside the (unmolested stock) harness?

Can anyone tell me what im missing here??

thanks!!

My truck harness has a wiring for an IAT and a MAF. I'll be going with an SD tune too, which I need to replace the IAT/MAF combo with an IAT from Syclone/Typhoon.

My IAT is pin 25 of the red connector as well.

Trucks use a 5 wire MAF which is 3 wires of MAF and 2 wires of integrated IAT. Use a common IAT connector and splice into the wiring and you're done
