for those who replaced pcm along with tranny swap.. blew my motor and my auto kept slipping out of overdrive so im just gonna buy a used ls1/t56 to tide me over and i wanted the 6 speed anyway. it comes with a pcm so i thought i would not have to get mine reflashed but then i thought about it and would my ignition key still work? or does the key/security feature not have anything to do with the pcm?

Your new PCM will need your cars VIN put into it and you will either need to do a VATS relink procedure or just have VATS turned off when your tuner puts the VIN in it.
