Default Exhaust questions

Ok not sure where this should go, but here it goes.

Ok I currently have LT, ORY, cutout and a magnaflow catback, all 3".

Here's what I want to do I want to change everything from the ORY to the back of the car. I was thinking of going to a single muffler after the ORY and a turn down. I want to not have any exhaust over the axle. I do not care much about how loud it is. I just do not want to sacrifice power or any gas mileage, as I have to DD the car right now.

Any good mufflers I should consider? I want it to be at a good price but not cheap crap either. I do not like the sound of flowmasters on LS1 F-bodys.

I've got a single chamber Flowmaster(actually a $36 knockoff) dumped before the axle. But since you don't like the sound of them look into a bullet style muffler

My car had a flowmaster on it when I got it and it sounded raspy. Just did not care for the sound.

How does yours sound? Any videos or sound clips of yours.

Mine is going to sound completely different since I'm still running stock manifolds, cats and y-pipe.

If it ever warms up here and I dig the car out of the snow I'll get a clip of it

Hi,
just a note on carbon monoxide: Odorless, tasteless and colorless..use caution as you acquire a buildup in your body overtime. Often people are toxic before problems arise. We want you around for a long time.no sarcasm
intended....have a blessed day........jim
