94 transam with base speakers need up grade donno much about car audio OK i have a 94 transam with the base audio no bose no moonsoon just the crappy ones that sound really bad the car came with a sony explode head unit wich i would like to change to i am looking to change all of my speakers and get some subs any ideas for a entire setupand the cheapest im not looking to spend a whole lot

Look for some 6 3/4" coaxial speakers for the doors, a rear enclosure like a stealthbox, and a 4 channel amp. Run the front amp outputs in stereo and bridge the two rear channels. Fairly decent sound for not too much money.
