Gen III external engine section is where it should go, just an FYI.

I say magnaflow from the 2 options.

Go to LS1sounds.com. You'll find some nice sound clips so you can decide exactly what you like. Good luck man!

out of those TWO? Magnaflow HANDS DOWN.

Flowmasters are NOT good for the LS1's. Sounds VERY WIMPY and doesnt flow really well.

Magnaflows are really nice, so are GMMG (if you gonna stay with stock manifolds and Y pipe) THESE would be the BEST option. (if you change headers and y pipe, BE PREPARED FOR SO MUCH RASP. Some people like rasp, some dont. I am the believer of RASP IS BAD).

Corsa are nice but rich for my blood

Borla has its OWN DISTINCT SOUND. Very nice in my opinion and their tips people are big fans

Just go on ls1sounds.com or the companies website to hear the different sounds of exhausts/

Best of luck

Stay away from crapmaster unless there 1 chambers on duals,if you plan on staying with stock manifolds and y pipe the loudmouth1 sounds great, and you can get them really cheap, just look in parts, people change catbacks all the time they are always for sale,if you go buy a muffler and new tips,by the time you have a exhaust shop weld and install it you could have just bought a catback, good luck man,I love magnaflow

If you decide to go with just a Flowmaster muffler I have a used one that sounded great on my car that I no longer use. It's jsut sitting in my garage so if you're interested, shoot me a pm.
