Default pacesetter y with flow collector?

i think i'm going with pacesetter l/ts. i also was wondering what why pipe should i get (non customized)? how about a pacesetter y to ensure fitting then buy a flowmaster collecter and have a muffler shop weld those two up. what do ya'll think?

I have heard you can get a better flowing y than what p/s offers but if you weld in the collector then it may compinsate, I heard mufflex is the best y to get for the header you/I bought but there have been discussion on fitment between the too... I am running 2 cutouts so I may opt for the p/s y also due to the cutouts Ill be running..I have heard the fit with the p/s y and p/s tube can be tricky at times a guy on here has a complete write up on it cant rmember his username but do a search for pacesetter header in here and he is in here I believe he has a camaro..hope I helped...

I'd like to see someone use their ypipe as a starting point for a true dual setup...using the turnins like larry has It would be pretty easy obviously if you didnt use an xpipe...youd only need a few feet of tubing and some mufflers and make a dump before the axle...total outlay would probably be less than $200 in parts for the ypipe mufflers and tubing hmmm maybe im trying to convince myself of something hehe
