Default Very queer engine situation, need opinions

Alright so about 3 months ago my car had some issues hesitating when accelerating at random times, my mom recently unplugged my stereo and when she drove the car no bogging no hesitation no nothing. Can anyone explain this occurrence?

By unpluggin the stereo you mean a set of subs in the back, or the head unit under the dash?

My theory is that your mom located your keys and made use of the vehicle with or without your consent.

Interference between something in your stereo and your cars computer or ignition system. Is everything grounded properly and are all of your stereo wires run away from your cars computer?
