im tryin to see have anybody usein a ptc stall converter i want to see if it would be a good stall to go with

Yup they are from mussel shoals alabama,,,had them build me one for my solid roller 462 with a TH-400 I had in my 69 bird, took my engine-trans info along with the cars weight and gear and built me a 3500 stall that was tight for street use and worked perfect at the track, had an anti-balloon plate foe the spray, converter worked awesome in the car. Alot of racing guys use them,,cant go wrong with their converter as long as you are using the right one..

Maybe for th350/400's they work well but I got one for a 700r4 and it has taken out 2 trannys and this is after being sent back to them to find a balance problem. So as far as I am concerned I'm not using them.

I tried one in my car a couple years back and it worked well. Didn't have any complaints. It did everything I wanted it to.

I have ran several of their convertors, I have one in a rockcrawler with a ls1 mated to a th350 and I just install a PTC built th350 and convertor in my trans am tonight. I have always had good luck out of them Kenny Ford is the best!!!!
