Default Question about "ram air" mod on an SS...

Sup fellas,

I just performed the "ram air" mod on my '02 SS, and I can feel a DEFINITE difference in power and breathing ability.

In fact, it's so good that I'm worried that some of the air coming from under the car is escaping out the front of the airbox (where cold air usually comes into the motor).

If I closed that slit off, would I be trapping enough air to make a difference? Would it even build a tiny bit of pressure if I closed it off?

Thanks for your help!

(and for those of you that haven't seen the ram air mod, look at the modifications section of LS1.com)

Are you serious? Its really that big of a difference? (sarcasim) But anyway, i remember some people blocking off the front of the air box when they used the fast toys ram air though. Might try it and see what happens.

Your not going to get any pressure w/o an aftermarket ramair kit. The condenser and all the black shielding have holes everywhere.
