Default Front plate...Better than nothing?

California requires a front plate. I ran without one for years. I'm trying to avoid getting pulled over by the Cop coming the other direction and looking for any excuse to flip a u-turn. If you walk around the front of the car, you can't see it at all, so I assume I'll still chance the occaisional ticket in lots.

From 100+ feet it's obvious. Closer is pretty questionable. I just can't do the stock location. It's fugly and screws up the catfish look I'm going for. So does this look stupid? What are other options have you seen?

looks good for what it is. kind of a tough thing to hide without hiding. Regarding the laws on front plates, they have to be a certain height from the ground so by having it in that spot your not really saving yourself unless the 50 doesnt care.

I had mine in the same location and up until two days ago I have never been pulled over in my two years of owning my t/a.
