What car would have a fuel pump with eneough pressure for a vortec 2002 truck engin that can I install in my 55 chev tank ? thanks Lee

How do you plan on doing the install? Were you going to rework the top of the tank to accept a late model fuel bucket/sending unit assembly or were you hoping to just mount a earlier style pump to your tri-5 sending unit?

The early 2000`s chevy tahoe sending unit/buckets seem to be fairly short, and will supply enough fuel. How tall is your tank?

I will rework top of tank but depth of tank is only about 8 in. So I need a pump less than 8 in. I appreciate any help would like a GM. Thanks Lee
