Good tire combo with staggered rims
I have 17x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear oe wheels and Im tryin to figure out the best tire combo that will not set off my abs light. I would like to have a 295 tire on the back as the biggest, but a 285 would work.

You may get different feedback on this, but Nitto is a great all around tire. I had them on my 17's with 9.5 on front and 11's out back. I recently purchased a set of Sumotumo(is that how you spell it???) for my rears and realized how much better I liked the Nittos. As far as the ABS light goes, I have no idea. Never ran a staggered set-up..

I like the combination I have... haven't had any ABS issues and only minor BFH work to the rear inner fenderwalls. Rears grips so good I drive around with traction control off. I do not drive in the rain.

Hi, I did not have to cut off my bumpstops. The only thing I had to be careful with around the bumpstops was when I lowered the car off the jacks to make sure they didn't scratch the back of the rim and tires. Otherwise when the car is loaded the bumpstop sits inside the wheel. The small spacer was more for cosmetic reasons so the wheel sat flush with the rear fender and aligned with the front wheel edges. It did allow me to get away with doing a little less BFH though.

I am kind of considering going with a 305 tire in back now or whatever I find a deal on, but i think im going to cut the bumpstops off and surrounding areas anyway that way I dont have to worry about bumstops hitting if I have to jack up the rear
