Default Time for upholstery!!!

So while i'm waiting for the semester to end to begin bodywork, i might as well tackle my interior.

Exterior: satin black
Interior: Plastics are medium or dark gray(one of the 2)
I'm getting black carpet and black 6LE seats for my bday
I'm thinking that the door panels need some love too, the lower carpeted part is going to be black, and possibly red and black houndstooth for the upper upholstered part of the door.

I'm sure that most people won't like this look, but i'm sort of going for that older hot rod look.

Too much?
Thoughts or suggestions?

I think it'd look good. You cant go wrong with a red and black
Combo.go for it! I'm about to do the same thing (redoing interior) lol having an upholstery shop leather wrap ebony for the panels and doing a silver/black accents for the rest.

Damn, that sounds really good.

I have some upholstery experience, but i have never worked with leather and we don't really have a good upholstery shop around here, so i guess i'm stuck to fabrics with this one. lol

I'd love to see some pics of the finished product when you get done though
