General Maintenance & Repairs - Got a knock sensor low voltage code after Washing the enginge.

Ok so yesturday i degreased and cleaned the shit out of my engine to clean it up a bit since its never been cleaned since god knows when. well today i get a knock sensor low voltage code...i just cleared it and was just wondering how it would effect everyday driving or would it need replacing asap.?? any info would help guys thanks

You probably got some water in the knock sensor cavities is my guess. With a faulty knock sensor your car will run like shit.

yeah, ill probably end up replacing both sooner or later maybe when i get a new intake ill replace em. they are like 50 bucks each sooo lol gotta save up. but thanks for the info.
