Default Should a LS pump water like a old sbc?

The 6.0 in my k5 has me wondering if the pump isn't working. I know on a old sbc you can see the water moving in the rad but with the 6.0 it doesn't seem to be moving at all when it is up to temp. I hasn't run hot but it does run abount 210 to 215 all the time. Jesse did my tune and my pcm in a 98 ls1, the electric fans run all the time so that makes me think he left the camaro setting for the fans in there. The fans come on and do not go off and the temp never drops. Maybe a fbody thermostat will cure the problem but I would think the water should still be moving in the radiator?

210-215 is normal for a stock LS1. Your fans shouldn't run all the time though.

^^^What he said. Only one fan should be running when it reaches a certain temperature, then the second one comes on at a higher temp(not sure at what temp) unless you have the a/c on.
