Default Building a custom 8.8 anyone got a metal hookup Pics Inside

So after reading all the custom 8.8 builds with sleeves I was showing my friends dad and he said lets do it ! He is a welder and he's built 8.8's for jeeps in the past-

What I need is a sheet of metal about 3/8 thick to make the TA bracket anyone got some laying around/hookup? Otherwise ill end up at the metal mart somewhere

Here's some progress pics

Mocked up out of wood - going to test fit the TA arm today and if it works, make one out of metal and call it a day !!

Yeah I saw it - but I didnt like the fact that the ground clearance was going to be compromised - but it does look very sturdy, i hit **** everyday driving around to work so I wanted as much ground clearance as I could get

I got the rear installed yesterday, im going to measure pinion angles today and then take everything down make it out of the metal, weld it, and put it back on and give it a test run hopefully this weekend !
