Default help with Exhaust!

I got a 1993 LT1 with few mods done to it, for exhaust i have Edlebrock shorty headers to a hollowed out car to a 3'' Borla Exhaust and its really poppy and raspy when i rev it up i was wondering what i could do to get rid of that rasp?

IMO, the only way to eliminate all the pop and rasp is to run true duals. The Borla is a stright through muffler and any straight through muffler is going to rasp. If you run a chambered muffler like the Hooker, the rasp will be less but not totally gone. The rasp is a result of the single exaust system found on all f-bodies once the cats are removed or gutted.

Or you put the cats back on mostly eliminate it as well.

Check my sig for mt TD's and check out the sound clip.

yep i've got two dynomax bullets off my headers to a y pipe to another dynomax bullet to a flowmaster out back............its not raspy at all but it drones to high hell at like 1300 (which unfortunatly is my idle speed ) and 4500-5500
