i had a spare strut tower brace from my buick, and looking back and forth to the formula i figured i would give it a shot. i had to cut about 2 inches out of it, and i notched it for the map sensor and throttle bracket. im not into the whole stb thing but for an extra part and about an hour of time it fits well. hood as plenty of clearance too. ill snap pics if anyone is interested.

these stb's can be found easily and the j/y, and i think they were only like $20 from GMMP.
