Default wire protection wrap

im bout to get ready to put all my exhaust n stuff back on after repairing some wiring and wrapped them with cool tape and was wondering if it even works. im just trying to route them away from the headers as good as possible and also wrapped the knock sensor and starter wire separately. does this stuff really work to keep down heat?

I use their spark plug wire/boot protectors on #6, #5 and also used their header wrap on the O2/ground/starter wires (overkill but I'm paranoid about this bundle of wires stranding me someday ). Using their sheet material of the same stuff as cool tape to shield my fuel lines from the driver's side cat as well.
