Default Question About Wheel and Tire Install?

When getting new wheels and tires Mounted, balanced, and installed, is an alignment necessary or do i not really have to do it? Switching from my stock 16s to 18x9.5 C5 DD wheels and 285/35/18 Nitto NT05's all around.

It's not but I would recommend it just to be on the safe side. All the tire stores around here recommend it if your swapping out wheels and tires.
