It depends on the diameter of the valve but figure around .120 in depth on an intake valve.

To deep for a stock piston, but plenty enough to run a HUGE cam with an aftermarker piston

about how big is big?

I just got my custom Diamond -6cc pistons and wondering if I will have problems with this cam
252/256 .620/.624 112 LSA ?

Those are some honkin reliefs, but thats a honkin cam too. Is this going into a 346 ci motor?

You're gonna need to check, and recheck that. I dont think anyone is going to be able to accurately assume what will work with that setup IMO..

Is it actually a -6cc relief? I got the -7cc Diamond pistons and it is still a -2cc valve relief with a dish. The extra 5cc's actually has nothing to do with the relief depth. Just wondering cause I to was thinking the -7cc was actually the size of the relief.

no thats not the size of the relief, your -7cc is almost the same as mine but I went with -6cc to get a compression of 10.9.1
and this isnt for a 346. Its for a 410ci iron block stroker
