Default wierd shifting problem

I have trouble shifting into gears when i get on it after ive already gone thru 2 gears (say i start from 1st and it wont go into 3rd) (or if i start from 2nd it wont go into 4th) unless i pump the clutch once or twice. Im not much of a tranny guy so i have no idea where to start the fix. I put a cam in it about 1800 miles ago and it started doing it after the swap but not immediately after. Any ideas what the problem is? Thanks..

If you have not had the drill mod done to the master feed line....this sounds exactly like what it fixes. There are tons of posts about this.

Do a search here . Not sure of the specific drill size but you remove the feed line and open the end at the master. Unless you are very lucky, you should remove the master, disassemble , drill , clean, re-assemble , bench bleed( a key step) ane re-install. Then do a system vac bleed.

Check the "sticky" at the top of this forum, the third link from the top in the list. You should be able to find all you need to know there.
