Default M6 MSD 2step

Wanted to know which wires should I cut/splice on the clutch safety switch to install the MSD 8733 2step? The 2 wires going into the switch are purple/white and a solid green. I'm not worried about having to use the clutch to start the car.

i bypassed my clutch safety switch and used it as a switched ground. no issues needing to press the clutch to start the car. i always check the shifter before i start the car anyways

Which wire did you end up using off of the Clutch switch? So basically cut/splice one wire and ground the other one?

I used the clutch switch that controls the cruise control. Since it grounds to kill the cruise I just tapped in.

I believe it was the grey and blk wire on the white switch.

So doing it this way you still have your clutch safey switch to start the car along with using the clutch to activate the 2step?

Yes, no modifications to the clutch switch. Car still wont start without the clutch pressed in.

The switch in the middle and the harness on the left is what I have. Some cars may have the harness on the right.
