Default Leak at radiator coolant level sensor, ideas?

Hey all,
I did an LT1 radiator swap about two years ago (stock radiator blew up). The LT1 radiators use the same provision for the coolant level sensor on the middle of the passenger side tank on the radiator. I recently took a seven hour road trip and now it seems that the prolonged pressure caused a leak at the radiator level sensor. Any ideas on a quick fix? RTV? Maybe a quick remedy that somebody has discovered? Let me know. Thanks.

Just replace the bad o-ring on the sensor. If it was a used sensor when you installed it, the o-ring may have gotten worn.

You might also just replace the sensor. They come with new seals, are inexpensive, and the old one will probably go bad on you soon, anyway.

On my LT1 radiator, I found a brass fitting + cap at Lowes that exactly fit in the sensor hole, and epoxied it in. I think it was 3/4" diameter. Much cheaper than buying a useless sensor.
