need help with y pipe

need help with y pipe have owned an ls1 camaro for about three months now bought the car with high flow y pipe with cats not sure of brand have reciept from mechanic and flowmaster catback i can drive the car normally with no problems as soon as i get on it a few times the check engine light comes on looked up the code and it says the cats are bad is it because they are high flow cats or are the cats bad i know if you have no cats the light will come on im just wondering if its common with high flow cats to throw a code when u get on it.

need help with check engine light bought a car with high flow y pipe and flowmasters its fine untill i get on it then throws check engine light for bad cats or catalyst effiecency is it because they are high flow or is it because they are bad anyone have this prob the have less than 10,000 miles not sure of brand but do have reciept from mechanic for install was installed before i bought i can drive it for weeks normally and no check engine light as soon as i blow the doors off a mustang or such it comes on
