Default Just bought a nx kit

I just bought an NX kit from my buddy. It's a dry kit 100 shot. My car has 175k miles, lid, exhaust, headers, ported TB, Gm hotcam package, ram air mod, dyno tuned. I got the kit for a great deal and am not new to nitrous but to the ls1 I am.

Do i NEED a window switch? Is this kit safe? the motor runs like new and compression etc is fine, I am actually going to upgrade to a new cam involving dual valve springs/pushrods once i seal the price on it. Any other info i should know? It's an a4 with 2.73 stock converter ( not for long ) .. thanks guys
Ryan

Do you NEED a window switch? NO
Is a $100 window switch great to add for insurance? YES

Not sure what you mean if the kit is safe, it is as safe as you want to make it. The more safety features u add (window switch, fpss, etc...) the safer it will be.

If you are asking if the engine will hold a 100 shot, yes it will. LS1's can hold up to a 200 shot or higher on stock block. 150 is a safe number that most people run.

A 100 dry shot with your mods will probably max your injectors if they are stock. Look into some ford svo red top injectors.

Also br7ef plugs.

Go check out the stickies in the nitrous section.

You don't need a window switch, just keeps you from making a mistake.
