4l60 needs replaced in my 93 i think help?

4l60 needs replaced in my 93 i think help? sometimes it shifts great other times i take it out i pretty much have to manully go though the gears. will a normal 700r4 work or do i need a 4l60 for a 93? or does someone have an idea of whats going on?

You can adapt the 700r4 to replace that unit as its really just a 700r4 with a couple presure sensors added which when missing will not in fact set a code. You will have to change the round plug to a square one on the cars harness and make some changes in the internal trans wiring or not depending on where the trans comes from.

Well in our case we ship the units set up so its as simple as making sure there is power on PIN A and it will lockup anytime you get into 4th gear. But when your looking at stock replacements there are several different wiring variations so its hard to be more specific.
