Default 2 door coupe's. Wheel hop?

Friend of one of my advisors at work, bought a '11 CTS-V coupe, 6speed auto. 2,000 miles,.... he tells me he has wheel hop on the street. I think I have driven two V coupes on slow speed acceleration runs, or dead stop launches, I don't think I have ever had a hint of wheel hop. I should probably check for bulletins(I will when done) for this concern but I figured I would ask here, and see if anyone at all ran into something similar. He's gonna bring the car in sometime soon so i'll make him take me for a ride to duplicate it but,..anyways, just curious if you've exerienced this in the two door coupe V's.

Thanks-

Jamie

I dont have a V2, but have aggressively driven both the coupe and sedan at Motorsport Ranch in Houston. I encountered zero wheelhop with auto and manual.

This was discussed on the other forum about potential wheel hop and they could never repdroduce it so conclusion was it was a freak incident/road conditions/the driver didn't really know what wheel hop was.
