Where can I find....??? Help!!????
either an online haynes manuel for an ls1 or a breakdown / detialed pictures of the front brakeing system.
I am doing an ls1 front brake upgrade(from lt1) and thought I had gotten all the correct parts. i have allready installed ls1 steering nuckles, i have new ls1 calipers and caliper brackets, but no way to attatch the brackets to the steering nuckle. I also cannot under stand how the pads fit around the rotor and inside the caliper bracket...there doesn't seem to be enough room...any info is extremely helpfull...thanks in advance. Pics are great.

www.installuniversity.com has some pics of the way an LS1 brake system goes together.
The abutment brackets use 2 good sized bolts to attach to the knuckle at the 3 o'clock position on the driver's side and the 9 o'clock position on the passenger side.
Once the bracket is attached and the rotor is installed, the pads slide in.
If you have all the correct parts, and they are installed properly, it's a very easy upgrade.

One option for a decent online manual is at http://www.alldatadiy.com/
Cost is $25/year, but they should have some decent exploded views (at least they used to...).
