93 Camaro Suspension Rebuild
I just replaced every bushing, ball joint, shock and spring under my 93 Camaro due to it's terrible handling and mickey mouse work by the previous owner. I noticed during a test drive afterwards a clunking from the front end when the suspension was cycling.
I have it narrowed it down to the nut on top of the front spring/shock assembly, it's the nut that holds the spring and upper spring mount to the shock, they need to be tightened further. Short of removing the tire, upright and entire upper a-arm with the spring and shock attached is there any way to tighten this bolt?
I am almost tempted to drill a hole in between the shock mounting bolts under the hood and reach down with a deep well socket, but I am concerned with affecting structural support. Someone tell me there is an easier way?
