new to the ls world..
hi names hunter owned mustangs since i got my license... just traded my 97 full bolt on cobra for a 98 z28 that has full exhaust and a cam.. will get up pics later...

Hey Hunter... Nice ride you have there ! I have a 98 Z28 also.
Most people will tell you that an older Mustang needs a supercharger to perform like an LS1 does on the motor alone...that is if the LS1 is equipped with Exhaust Headers,Cat back & high flow intake. The new mustang is another story.
The new Stang will blow off an LS1 Camaro unless that Camaro has a Cam installed in the motor with a good Tune.
The weak link in an F Body is the rearend. F body rear ends are very weak.

thanks felt like i made a good decision ls motors are much easier and cheaper to make go fast.. a few of my friends have ls powered cars so they were a big reason behind getin an ls powered car...
