Default MT's vs Hoosier DR's vs NT05R's

My 265/40/18 MT's on some 18" G8 wheels are about done so im looking at some new tires.

Plan is to sell my current 18's and get some C6 Zo6 replica wheels in black for drag tires. Looking to get a 18x10.5
Car will see little track time since they closed down the local track.
Car sees alot of street action
I need a tire thats gonna work from stop on the street
The G8 is stalled and sprayed FYI.

The choices im looking at are
Mickey Thompson
305/35-18
Tire Diameter 26.39 in.
Section Width 12.50 in.
Tread Width 11.50 in.

Nitto NT05R
285/40-18
Tire Diameter 27.09 in.
Section Width 11.42 in.
Tread Width 11.22 in.

Hooiser Dr (which seem to run narrow according to summitracing's specs)
315/30-18
Tire Diameter 26.00 in.
Section Width 11.70 in.
Tread Width 11.00 in.

I cant speek for the nitto but the mt would probly be better on the street cause they last longer than hoosier. I had mt last year and they worked great on the track. I ended up buying some hoosiers next and used them on the track also. Hoosier was king of the track for me and I wont even use them for street cause length of life. I will probly get more mts for the street and just used my hoosiers for track.
