Drilling valve cover for vent?
Im upgrading to the ls6 vallvey cover and decided to get new valve covers also. I ordered the gm chevrolet valve covers and they dont come with a port for the fresh air vent. Can I drill into the side of the cover and put the factory line in or does it have to be baffled? The factory line isnt baffled but there are ribs kind of blocking port. Also does anyone know of an oil cap that fits these valve covers? Thanks, Joe

Thanks not planning on running the car with breathers yet though. I need to find an oil cap and I would like to keep the pcv setup and try it with the ls6 valley cover. I just dont know if I drill the valve cover if it has to be baffled or blocked like the first pic. Also my ls6 valley cover came in from Scoggin Dickey today and they sent me the wrong one . Its the right number on the side of the box but has a newer valley cover in it.
