Looking at a few CTS-Vs and could use some guidance.

Besides the rear diff. what are the highest cost items that frequently need replacement? The reason I ask is I have been looking at a few V's without warranties and want to be prepared for possible future expenses.

Motor mounts are up there, there have been a few issues with steering wheel position and the yaw sensors causing issue's with the stability system, NAV systems (mostly for the buttons though). The high pressure power steering line was leaking pretty bad on mine when I got it, and the trunk struts were shot...but those aren't really big problems though. The factory oil pressure sensor is pretty cheaply made and fail about every 20-30k miles.

I had about 90 days of the remaining factory warranty when bought mine and a GEN 4 diff was the biggest item on the list.
