Default This is REAL retarded

Where in the hell is the sway bar?? And how do I tighten it up?? The rear end tends to swerve a bit when I'm going 60-65. Like if I move the steering wheel a bit. The car moves after I stop. Best way I can describe it is like the way the car swerves when a huge 18 wheeler passes by you coming the opposite way.

look under the car from the back, its the thin black bar that runs across the car right under the rear axle, bends under the differential and links on each side to brackets just forward of the lower control arms. inspect the end links....if they're tight and everything seems in order, you have a different problem.

Another thing to check is your panhard bar, & the bushings that mount it.
Get under there & make sure everything is tight.

Could this be as simple as your alignment being off...?

not if the car moves after it is stopped. Check the panhard rod......sounds like it is broken.

Check air pressure in your tires as well... if you go through the entire list and the car still has a "loose" feeling - it is a different problem. I always felt my car was a little loose compared to my 3rd Gen cars from the past. I checked everything, and rechecked it, no improvement. So, I went digging through my pile of extra parts and found a fatter rear sway bar from an IROC. It was noticably larger than the factory rear bar - and it was free! I put it on the car and it does seem to make a difference that I can feel. The biggest difference is how stable it feels when changing lanes now. Before it felt a bit wobbly, by no means is the car ready to tear up a road course... but it did make a nice SOTP improvement.
