ported 243's flow really well
well i had a buddy of mine do some major porting on my 243 heads and then put them on a bench to see how they did turns out they flowed 30 more cfm than afr 225's. which was more than i expected. i will work on getting a flow chart to post on here for you all to see.

243's can do very well, My buddy had a set that flowed 312 cfm with the bigger valves installed, I believe a afr 225 can flow 320 cfm, but keep in mind the flow at lower lifts matter as well.
get a flow chart posted up, I would like to see what they do against a AFR 225 in the lower lift range

is it better to remove your 243's and have them ported/polished or just order some and send yours in as cores? id like to port my heads i figure it would be cheaper and less headache than ordering a set and all that jive
