fuel pressure problem!

Default fuel pressure problem!

would low fuel pressure (40psi) cause a ls1 not to fire up,

ok, i put a ls1 in my 3rd gen. using a speartech harness,purchased a msd fuel pump and a corvette filter/regulator. 40 psi at the fuel rail. would that cause a no start?

Does it fire at all? just turn over? is there spark? Low fuel pressure wont cause it to not fire, it may run like **** or die, thats not that low though, would probably just idle lean....

got spark at #1 she cranks, one small backfire, then nothing, does the ecm need to be grounded?

There are grounds throughout the harness that need to be grounded. The factory harness has two on the back of the driver head. There is another that goes from the block to the frame rail on the driver side.....I am sure there are more but I don't know the exact locations
