Default Two wire TRUCK ALTERNATOR, grey goes to the PCM, what about the other wire???

Anyone? This is off a 2005 escalade, the alternator has a two wire plug, one wire goes to the PCM and is grey, the other wire (brown i believe) I have no idea where it goes.

Thanks.

It looks like the 05s had the charging module. You might be able to get away with just running both to the PCM (where it says early production).
