Default 4L80e to gen 1 sbc

Wonder if anyone could chime in.

What is needed in the mating of the two? I have the controller I am speaking pure mechanical wise.

Am I going to need spacers?
Special flexplate?

thanks

Just get a flexplate that will fit a TH400 and you will be good to go. They have the same bolt pattern and pilot length.

Smaller bolt pattern on the 350, but you might have a dual bolt pattern flexplate. So you could use the outer 3 on the 4L80.

No, that is for an LS style motor, different crank dimensions.
