Default 96 firebird v6 charity case

here is the run down. it is a 96 v6 3.8 firdbird auto car and they stole the pcm. well the car has the chip style key and i have found a different pcm for the same year and tranny and my question is if i just put the pcm in will it start and run or will i have to re program the pcm for the key and if so is there a way to reprogram the key for the new pcm without a tech-II.

Key just runs on a resistor. If it is the same key, then you shouldn't have a problem. PCM will not pitch a fit about that.
