torque converter problems??

torque converter problems?? 2500 b&m stall . it shifts 1 time stalling out around 3000 rpm having to press the gas numerous times to shift into the next gear. could this be my stall ,shift point problems, or transmission? it is a 4l60e. any suggestions helpful
