Default what are u guys running for PCV?

what are you guys running on your pcv systems? i'm not sure if the pcv requires vacuum or can vent to the atmosphere and not cause any crankcase pressure problems. thanks

you can go either way.. but just venting to teh atmosphere can be a oilly / messy way to go.. Engine Blow By !

Unless it is a racing engine.. I would recommend using some or part of the PCV system to create neg pressure in the engine internal to keep blow by from making a mess excaping and from blowing out the seals. A good PCV system/valve and a Catch Can (optional) should be used IMO.. But thats me.

I have my stop setup on my 99 LS1 engine and using a cheap oil seperator/catch can. On my 02 LS1 engine, I have converted it to the LS6 valley cover. waiting to see if I need a catch can or not.
