Which bearing kit for 10 bolt? Whining noise. I'm 90% sure the noise is coming from my rear end, the pinion bearing more specifically. It has 4.10 gears and whines under acceleration and deceleration but not in neutral.. Noise starts at about 35 mph.
The pinion seal was leaking enough to be slung on the under carriage of the car, I topped it off but the damage is already done.
What exactly do I need to order? My buddy will be helping me do this that has taken his rear apart multiple times.
