lifter talk. no, not ls7 lifters
ok, before i finish everything up here i need to ask this question.
ls6 lifters compatible for the lt1? my lt1 ones were pretty trashed on the ball end on some of them, i have a good 15k mile ls6 set here. can i use these?
for readers information, the ls6 BODY of the lifter is not identical to the lt1's. this is why i raise the question.
also, if so, there is the hole in the middle of the lifter body, position up or down? i would assume up, but thats just my educated guess.
and pros/cons to using these?

I just noticed how close you are too me, I actually just moved to Greenville. If you get into a bind and need LT1 parts shoot me a PM I have a lot of spare stuff laying around.
I would think they should work, nothing wacky about that end of the LS6 valvetrain, think the only "special" valvetrain feature was hollow/sodium filled valves.
