Default tripometer doesnt work

is there a plug on the tranny or somewhere for the tripometer and if so can u help me find it?

Is the odometer working, but the trip meter is not?

Am M6 also has a VSS, but if the odometer is not affected, then it is likely the gear on the shaft for the trip odometer (in the cluster). Mine cracked and would slip on the shaft. It would work for 9/10s of a mile, but when it had to click over to 0, it would slip because of the extra mechanical drag on the gear/tumbler mechanism. I eventually repaired it with some epoxy.
