Default DOD, and the factory warranty

hey guys, im thinking about tuning my 07 monte ss, and while im at it, i would enjoy removing the disturbing DOD which causes me, and many others nothing but headaches, and trips to autozone for more oil.

will this void my factory warranty? thanks peeps.

I would say it depends on your dealer and what ends up going wrong.

Technically, tuning it will void the warranty covering engine/trans because they could say you are doing damage to the vehicle.

It would not void fixing your radio for example.

The Magnusson-Moss act says the OEM has to prove what you did caused the damage or problem.

lmao thats awesome. dealers always try to **** you either way. throw on a set of mufflers, the engine breaks, and theyll say its because of the mufflers. HA

i think it depends on the dealership, but i always throw the factory tune back in when i take it in. i dont want them to weasel there way out of fixing anything.
