dual 3.5" cutouts overkill for a 404?

dual 3.5" cutouts overkill for a 404? I figured 1 7/8 headers have a 3.5" collector, so i ordered cutouts to match prior to my reducers for my 2.5" super turbo mufflers. Actually holding the cutout and realizing how large they are im starting to think they may be too much.
What do you guys think? the engine is an iron 404, with afr 225, at about 11.1:1cr. intake is a supervic with 4500 flange tb.

That will be perfect. You have maximized every point of airflow into and out of your engine that way with the 3.5" cut outs, deep breathing heads, intake and tb set up I'm guessing your running a 4 barrel tb like a accufab or something. Sounds like a sweet combo, throw some gas to it and watch it really scream.

Awesome thanks guys. I planed the dump pipe directly after collecters, but after reading about how a short extention (12-18")pre dump runs better i will add more length if it fits under the car.
