Default New regulator for use with the Aeromotive 340

Do i need to upgrade my stock regulator for use with the Aeromotive 340 pump? I was told the fuel psi will sky rocket.

Yes, but pressure is only a restriction. Volume creates pressure. Overloading an undersized regulator with volume it can not handle will create extra pressure.

make sense, how can you control that pressure?
deleting the factory regulator and using an aftermarket one?
